MERRY CHRISTMAS !
December 25 is celebrated as Christmas to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. According to the New Testament, Jesus was born in Bethlehem to Joseph and Mary. The month and date of his birth are not known, but by the early-to-mid-fourth century, the Western Christian Church had placed Christmas on December 25.
Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life.
Class VI, Cambridge International, DAVPS, Pushpanjali Enclave celebrated Christmas on 24th December,2020 virtually. The celebrations started with Christmas Carols, Sharing Poem and Story on Christmas followed by a fun quiz on Christmas celebrations. The children also created flameless recipes to celebrate this occasion with their friends, teachers and family members. Also, the children prepared Christmas greeting cards on Adobe Spark.
