Students of class 5 visited the National War Memorial to pay homage to the soldiers who laid their lives during the Indo-Sino war of 1962, Indo-Pak war of 1947, 1965, 1971 and Kargil Conflict of 1999 and India’s Peacekeeping Force Operations in Sri Lanka. The memorial which is built in the vicinity of India Gate, honours 25,942 fallen soldiers.
The visit helped the students in understanding the perils and hardships that our soldiers face to safe guard our Motherland and it also helped them in experiencing feelings of pride, patriotism and a sense of duty and responsibility towards their country, Índia'.
